Lê Đình Phong is a humanities and arts enthusiast. Phong is interested in exploring the intersections of humanities, arts, and queer spaces. He believes that creative expressions can be a powerful tool for social change, and he is committed to using such expressions to amplify the voices of queer people. He is currently working on a thesis featuring the narratives of Vietnamese young queer men in retrospecting their queer childhoods and childhood-ness in relation to sincerity. The thesis has been presented at the Engaging With Vietnam #14 conference and awarded the best bachelor’s thesis schoolyear 2022-2023 in International Studies of the Faculty of Linguistics & Cultures of English-speaking Countries, ULIS, VNU.
